While I do continue to work with patients in Beaverton and throughout Oregon, one of my primary focuses at Treehouse is supervision of Registered Associates who are working toward LPC or LMFT licensure in Oregon. Supervision services is a state mandated process that helps ensure therapists maintain a high level of care as they work toward licensure. Learn more about supervision services.
I specialize in play therapy, parenting support, working with adolescents and teens and people of all ages. I provide a variety of counseling techniques such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting strategies, family counseling, internal family systems and sandtray therapy. I frequently provide help with anxiety, mood management and exposure therapy for OCD. My main approach is to provide a safe and secure environment for clients to process feelings and learn to manage emotions and behaviors.
When I am not at work I enjoy baking, reading, spending time outdoors and walking my dog. I spend a lot of time with my two children and husband and extended family and friends. You will frequently find me doing a puzzle and rewatching my favorite shows such as Gilmore Girls and Ted Lasso.

I have worked in several agency settings focusing on children and families over the past 18 years. I also have experience working with clients dealing with severe and persistent mental health issues that have been involved in the legal system. For the past 10 years I have been in private practice and running Treehouse Counseling, LLC. I am currently providing licensure supervision and supervision for therapists who are interested in play therapy. I incorporate play, art, sandtray, and symbolism to aid in the therapeutic process. My therapy dog, Daisy, is present one day a week and is used for animal assisted therapy.
