I specialize in working with children ages 8 and up, teens, and adults. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, or other challenges, my goal is to help you feel supported while learning practical tools that work for you.
I enjoy helping children and teens better understand their emotions, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and navigate school, relationships, and life’s ups and downs. I also enjoy working with adults as they work through anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.
My approach is relaxed, collaborative, and tailored to each person I work with. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques while helping clients with recognizing the strengths they already have. I believe therapy works best when you have a safe space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and know that someone is in your corner.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or adding to my growing mineral collection. I also enjoy reading and walking my two dogs Long John (dachshund) and Ghost (yellow lab).
I am originally from the east coast and have spent more than eight years working in behavioral health. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings. Those experiences have shown me that everyone’s story is different, which is why I believe therapy shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. I’m a lifelong learner and love keeping up with new research and finding creative ways to help my clients succeed.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky.
