Adolescence is a time of exploration and identity development, but it can also come with pressure, confusion, and self-doubt. In therapy, teens and preteens can express themselves freely and learn to handle challenges in healthy ways. We help address issues such as anxiety, depression, body image, self-esteem, and family or peer conflict. Sessions often include creative techniques that make it easier for teens to engage and communicate openly. The goal is to help them understand their emotions, make confident choices, and build resilience for the future.
Teen counseling can also support families by improving communication and trust between parents and adolescents. Our therapists bring warmth and understanding to help reduce tension and strengthen relationships. We work with teens and preteens navigating grief, identity exploration, neurodivergence, or other challenges that affect their daily lives. Sessions are offered in Beaverton and through telehealth for added flexibility. With the right support, adolescents can find balance, confidence, and direction as they grow.
